3. How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect for the following purposes:
- Provide the Service: Publishing posts to LinkedIn on your behalf (only when you explicitly initiate a publish action), managing team content calendars, and generating AI-assisted content suggestions.
- Team Coordination: Enabling team administrators to view content calendars, coordinate publishing schedules, and track team-level visibility metrics.
- Relationship Signals: Aggregating and displaying engagement and visibility data to help your team understand which target accounts are becoming aware of your company.
- Product Improvement: Analyzing usage patterns to improve features and user experience.
- Communication: Sending essential service notifications, product updates, and responding to support requests.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to the Service.
4. Third-Party Services
LinkedTeams integrates with the following third-party services to provide its functionality:
4.1 LinkedIn API
We use the LinkedIn API to enable you to connect your LinkedIn account and publish posts. All interactions with LinkedIn are performed in compliance with LinkedIn's API Terms of Use. We access only the scopes you explicitly authorize, and you can revoke access at any time through your LinkedIn account settings.
4.2 Supabase
We use Supabase as our backend database and authentication provider. Supabase stores your account information, content data, and application data securely. Supabase employs encryption at rest and in transit, and operates under their own privacy policy.
4.3 Nango
We use Nango to securely manage OAuth connections between your LinkedIn account and LinkedTeams. Nango handles token storage and refresh processes, ensuring your LinkedIn credentials are never stored directly in our application. Nango operates under their own privacy policy.
5. Data Storage and Security
We take the security of your data seriously and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures, including:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
- Secure authentication and access controls
- OAuth tokens managed through Nango — we never store your LinkedIn password
- Regular security reviews of our infrastructure and codebase
While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing agreements).
LinkedIn OAuth tokens are revoked upon account deletion or disconnection of your LinkedIn account.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data and account.
- Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection: Object to processing of your data for specific purposes.
- Withdraw Consent: Revoke your consent at any time by disconnecting your LinkedIn account or deleting your LinkedTeams account.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10 below.
8. Cookies
LinkedTeams uses essential cookies required for the Service to function (such as session and authentication cookies). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Analytics, if used, rely on anonymized or aggregated data.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
